Which KF Crew Members Would You Send to Space - Kinda Funny Podcast

·57 min·5 clips
The Artemis 2 crew secretly named a moon crater after an astronaut's late wife, leaving him speechless.
The opening is a mess in the best Kinda Funny way. Nick Scarpino tries to get the show moving while Joey Noel gets labeled Christmas in April and Snowbike Mike turns spring into a whole outdoor plan. Mike is very, very pro-April. Tahoe snow, the lake, San Francisco sun, Easter confusion, and 420 all fly around before the space topic finally gets a lane. Then the astronaut dream gets practical fast. The second someone asks what happens when a body needs a bathroom in orbit, the heroic version of space travel takes a hard left. Pee turns into drinking water. The poop details get much less certain, which is where the bit really starts working, because nobody has the same mix of confidence and fear. One person does not care. If NASA certification is involved, the bathroom is apparently a later problem. Someone else hears that and immediately objects. Camping becomes the comparison, because some people hear wilderness and picture adventure, while others picture a shovel, a hole, and a terrible plan. That question owns the room. Where do you poop, how do you poop, and who signed off on this setup suddenly matter more than rockets or inspirational astronaut talk. Artemis comes in sideways too. The International Space Station sounds like the main reference point, but the crew admits they do not really know what the newer mission setup looks like. That gap helps the comedy instead of hurting it. The fun is watching big space ambition crash into very normal bathroom panic. The episode still has its warm turn near the end, with the crew telling listeners they are loved, important, and part of the show's life. Then Mike remembers the stream and his World of Tanks, World of Warships, and World of Warplanes investigation, because naturally there was one more loose thread.
