Ragnarok Ends

January 22, 2026·39 min·3 clips
Audrey discovers Izzy is corporeal in Niflheim, reuniting with her in the underworld.
Audrey is done pretending she can stay out of this. She says she is not the hero type, then volunteers for the impossible job of helping stop existence from ending. The comfort here is practical, not gentle. Someone promises to stand beside her, literally, while Audrey admits the actual fighting is the part she cannot do. That lands as both a joke and a wound. The battle answers with torn nerves, missing torsos, and Robin's pleased announcement that Niflheim is closed to the enemy. Shaylee gets weapon notes in the middle of the mess. The axe is too heavy, too slow, and, worst of all, not iron, which matters once mythic apocalypse planning turns weirdly practical. Then the bodies come into view. Thousands, maybe millions, maybe enough that counting stops being useful before the real problem even shows up. The army is dormant. It needs spirits of the dead to move, which means it can be broken apart, stolen, or turned around. So Cassidy gets told to call the muse pod, naturally. The plan becomes raising an army while acting like the enemy does not see how dangerous that is. Hel sees it. She mocks the loss of a few soldiers, points out that corpses are not exactly rare, and treats their clever move as a delay. The answer is growth. If the tree keeps spreading, Hel's realm-destruction plan gets less useful, so the group tries to make timing matter. Then Jormungandr arrives, and the question changes: hard to kill is not the same as unkillable.

A last-stand episode that keeps its jokes sharp even as the world tilts.

The episode lands as a last stand at Ragnarok, with Audrey choosing to help even while insisting she is not a hero and cannot fight. What gives it shape is the way the cast keeps moving: one person holds the line, others patch in defenses, dead communication, or a badly timed…
