258 | Goodwill Ghosts You'll Regret Meeting & Haunted Thrift Shop Finds

·52 min·1 clip

A man and woman independently encountered the same pale girl in black at Goodwill who appeared to teleport—neither knew the other had seen her.

Scott hosts episode 258 solo (co-host Christian is late) and dives into the Freaky Deaky archive on 'Goodwill Ghosts You'll Regret Meeting'—stories of paranormal encounters at thrift stores, estate sales, and antique shops. Lead story: a woman in her 50s encounters a pale, black-clothed figure at Goodwill who appears to teleport. Later, her niece's husband experiences the exact same encounter independently. They never discussed it beforehand. Other stories include a 19th-century mourning shawl that radiates grief energy, resolving only after a post-mortem baby photo is placed inside; and a 1930s portrait whose subject follows a collector as a ghostly presence until disposal. Common thread: secondhand objects carry residual energy. Episode emphasizes multi-witness corroboration and psychological authenticity over dramatization.
