Arise and Build: Serve Team Sunday - Joseph Zwanziger

August 17, 2025·41 min·4 clips

Joseph Zwanziger declares that believers will not progress in their faith journey by just learning more about Jesus—they must serve.

Pastor Joseph Zwanziger delivers a sermon titled 'Arise and Build' for Serve Team Sunday, using the biblical story of Nehemiah rebuilding Jerusalem's walls as an analogy for why Christians should serve in their local church. He argues that serving is inherent to human nature, essential for spiritual progress, expands personal lives, and enables God to work through the collective body of believers.

As heard by us

Serve Team Sunday turns the volunteer appeal into a clear claim: serving is part of redeemed life, and people meet Jesus through Christians who serve.
