When I was three or four I had a spontaneous oneness experience where awareness expanded into infinite space

Caitlin starts with a welcome. She frames the show around health, wealth, spirituality, and happiness, with the listener landing here, right now. Kelsey comes in gently as the photographer for the upcoming SoulScape retreat on June 7th, in the language of sacred ceremony and communion. Pretty quickly, words feel a little clumsy. Kelsey reaches for something closer to Zen: the truth of who we are and the beauty of nature do not always explain themselves. Oneness is the ground under the whole conversation. Caitlin and Kelsey keep returning to the separate self, identity, and the possibility that a person is more than the story they keep carrying around. The photography talk is intimate, not technical. Kelsey sees portrait work as ritual, especially when someone lets the camera meet them in a vulnerable state. She does not brush past nervousness. She notices the awkward hands, the uncertain hair, the busy mind saying it has no idea what to do. That part gets room. Instead of pushing confidence, she lets the scared voice and the surface story be seen first. Silence matters here. The camera feels less like a demand and more like a mirror for the parts people usually hide. The body gets to tell the truth too. If someone is tired, Kelsey might have them lie on the red rocks and let the exhaustion belong in the image. The episode closes with blessing, dance, and Loka samastah sukhino bhavantu, with a nudge to put on a song and let the body remember it is alive.
