Is Hemorrhoid Cancer a Thing?

·43 min·2 clips
"If you put a cucumber up your ass" turns a hemorrhoid joke into a medical panic test.
Dry January gets no mercy. The sponsor read begins as a legal THC pitch, then slips into drones, lasers, discreet shipping, and pretend secrecy. The ad cannot sit still, which fits the excerpt. Every practical detail turns into another reason to laugh. The afternoon starts at the venue. The crew drops off merch early, sees a kid yelling outside the mall, and gets pulled into someone else's workplace blowup before anyone really knows what happened. Lori fills in the fired employee, the police call, and the part where she admits she kind of likes chaos. That becomes the mood of the episode. Stanhope treats the whole mess like useful material, not a problem to tidy up. Then an email knocks the room sideways. A broke fan with seizures asks for help, and the host says he almost never comps anyone before making this exception feel weirdly earned. Family history barges in too. His estranged brother shows up, and a stage intro turns into reunion, old fallout, a very late-coming-out cousin, and driving panic all tangled together. The brother material has warmth, but it never gets glossy. Any sincere moment has to fight its way through a joke first. The ending shrinks back down to complaints. Stanhope goes after weak ones, especially people treating basic errands like tampons or condoms as disasters. The point is not noble. It is a mean little reminder to be grateful when the worst part is embarrassment, not real damage.

As heard by us

A bleak, unruly comedy episode about tour chaos, family strain, panic attacks, and bodily indignity.

Doug Stanhope turns a sponsor read into a crooked doorway, sliding from zero-sugar THC sodas and the word "boof" into a mall disturbance involving a fired worker.
