I found Chris and her mother on the floor surrounded by cash, unaware they were about to discover eternal life.

The question begins simply. A Christian meets someone unexpectedly, senses an opening, then starts finding reasons not to speak about Jesus. George names that hesitation, and Jeff answers with a story that sounds less like a method and more like a ministry memory that made sense only afterward. The scene starts ordinary. A woman says they want to know how to live forever because they have been studying the Bible every Monday night. Jeff gets excited too fast. He admits he skipped his usual diagnostic questions and had to pause halfway through the gospel to get his footing again. That detail gives the story some weight. The point is not that evangelists always feel ready, smooth, or alert when God opens a door. The conversation keeps widening. The woman is already a believer, while Chris and the young man begin to see their own need as Jeff explains the gospel. Both trust Christ that night. Later, Jeff learns that Chris had a twin sister killed in an automobile accident. The money on the floor had meaning too. It had been raised for the organ donation program tied to her sister's organs after that sudden death. Death had made the question urgent. What happens after death was not abstract for Chris, and the Bible study had already been circling that question before Jeff knew any of it. George ends with prayerful urgency, urging Christians to ask the Lord of the harvest for open doors, open eyes, and enough courage to walk through.
