02-10-26 TEMPLE TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY.mp3

God told her during a panic attack: 'You still put your worth in what you do — when you can't do something, it destroys you inside, but I created you and what I make is not worthless.'
She starts with prayer. The room feels informal and worn down, and the host says she is exhausted before setting aside the planned lesson for what came out of quiet time. Isaiah 43:7 gives the study its shape: what does it mean to belong to God, to be made for his glory, and to quit bowing at a false altar? The teaching stays personal. Again and again, she comes back to the fight inside a believer who wants a deeper relationship with the Lord and then feels the pressure rise. The enemy is named plainly. His attacks feel sharper, but she pushes past the surface fear of losing things. The better question is what the heart is still trying to keep when God starts making room for himself. Matthew 10 brings the correction. Reading from the King James, she brings in Jesus' words about loving father, mother, son, daughter, and life itself less than him. Nobody gets the throne. Not a best friend, not a romantic attachment, not the comforts that make surrender feel costly. She is careful here, though. She does not turn love into neglect. Service begins at home, she says, because someone who will not serve family will not serve the church well either. The issue is not loving people. It is letting people, fear, or comfort get between the believer and the Lord. By the closing prayer, the lesson gets confessional. She asks God to expose the lies, uncover the fear of loss, and remind the women that their worth is in Christ, not appearance, productivity, or income. The ending stays tender, tired, and direct.

As heard by us

A weary but sincere Bible study about surrender, identity, and keeping God first.

This women’s Bible study begins in exhaustion and uses that weariness to lead into a steady reflection on surrender, identity, and what it means to live for God’s glory.
