Talking Mandalorian S3, Celebration, Bad Batch & more! Steele Wars Hyperchat

·1 hr 7 min·5 clips

Steele and Cory critique Bad Batch's 'enhancement episodes' and question Lucasfilm's marketing commitment.

Steele Saunders opens the episode by welcoming Cory Van Dyke and discussing leaked Andor set images, reminiscing about their own extra work. The conversation shifts to The Bad Batch, with Steele expressing lukewarm feelings and Cory noting fluctuating quality, labeling some episodes as 'enhancement episodes' akin to wrestling filler matches. They debate Omega's potential live-action appearance and Margot Robbie fan casting. The hosts then speculate about Star Wars Celebration, predicting movie announcements, possibly from Damon Lindelof or Taika Waititi, and discussing attendee logistics. A segment critiques Hasbro's exclusive merchandise, particularly a red Darth Vader figure, with suggestions for better alternatives. The focus turns to The Mandalorian Season 3, with Steele admitting he dislikes Mandalorian society's cult-like rules and Cory theorizing Din Djarin may ditch his helmet. They analyze clips, including a recap video and Grogu's chair-spinning moment, debating the narrative impact of reuniting Din and Grogu in The Book of Boba Fett. The hosts discuss characters like Peli Motto and Toro Calican, with Steele sharing a humorous story about a mis-synced Clone Wars viewing with Randy. The episode concludes with plugs for Steele's YouTube content and Cory's upcoming Convor Call episodes.
