SCYWT100K Office Hours - Carmen 3/7/24

Network marketing fails when it relies only on friends, family, or one channel.
The conversation begins with a simple roll call and a request to put the day's questions on the board. It quickly becomes clear that one participant has arrived carrying a heavy week. She explains that her brother's ashes have been sent to her. The shock makes it hard to step into dreaming. She says she has not felt safe enough to say that out loud. Instead, she has been distracting herself with good things, including chiropractic care and daily treatment. That honesty sets the tone for the rest of the session. The coaching then moves into practical growth strategy. A remembered business lesson is introduced: build the email list first. From there, the conversation lands on the idea that every business needs 10 ways to get new clients. Friends and family are named as only one channel. Social media is another. The point is that two channels are not enough if the goal is to treat the work like a real business. The room starts brainstorming additional paths. Events come up right away. The discussion extends that into attending events where motivated people already gather, such as business or personal development conferences. Health and wellness spas and similar settings are treated as places where the right conversations can happen. The episode also notes a recent event that produced six vision board clients. That result leads into a reflection on how people talk about the business and whether they ask for websites or want to know the person behind it. By the end, the session circles back to a deeper shift: one participant recognizes that shrinking NHS work is lining up with a desire to leave pharmaceutical-based medicine behind and grow something of her own, and the room closes with pictures, gratitude, and warm support.

As heard by us

Warm, messy coaching for building a business while grief is still in the room.

This episode moves between grief and business advice without trying to smooth the edges. One participant talks about getting her brother's ashes, how hard it is to keep dreaming, and how distraction became part of getting through the day.
