New AI Marketing Study: 60% Do This Daily...

October 10, 2025·43 min·2 clips
Only 20% of 730 marketers see AI as a threat to their jobs.
AI adoption is moving faster than a lot of marketers may think. The host starts with the question hanging over the whole conversation: if AI is getting this useful, is it replacing the work or changing what the work looks like? The episode stays practical. The guest talks about AI moving from toy to tool, especially with video, where people who are not trained editors can now get useful results. Music comes up too, with the guest saying some AI music may be hard to spot. Text has improved as well. With more context and a better prompt, ChatGPT can turn out blog posts that are more than passable drafts. That part comes with a catch. A copywriter who knows how to frame the prompt can still get better results than someone asking for bland content and hoping the tool figures it out. Then the study gets more interesting. Marketers were asked an open ended question about their single biggest challenge using AI at work, with no preset answers steering them. The guest says the team analyzed the responses and used AI models to help find the patterns. The top answer was learning and understanding AI. About one in four marketers, 23%, named that as their biggest challenge. That takes some air out of the fear spiral. The urgent problem is not convincing people AI matters. It is finding the time and patience to learn how to work with it. The episode closes with a simple use case: the 31 page report, available without registration when the podcast publishes, can be the thing you put on a boss's desk when the team needs a push.

As heard by us

A plain snapshot of how marketers are using AI, and why adoption still stalls.

Dan Sanchez and his guest move past the familiar fear that AI is coming for marketers' jobs and spend more time on how it is being used now. The useful part is the friction: adoption is moving faster than many in the field expected, but learning the tools still trips people up.
