Muscle Talk! Is Mike Sommerfeld an entitled brat or just plain stupid?

March 26, 2026·57 min·2 clips
Mike Sommerfeld is either an entitled spoiled brat or dumb as a box of shit
Big Rich, Ian Edek, and Lee Priest open the room. Kenson is out because his grandfather passed, Xavier may join later, and the talk moves on without waiting for a cleaner start. They joke about the mix in the room and keep the banter loose. Then the open class comes up, and they cannot get over how thin the lineup is for a show that should be one of the biggest and highest paying on the calendar. Brandon gets an early push for second. The case is simple: he is steady and does not usually come in off, so the judges may well give him a hard look. Martin stays in the conversation too. The panel keeps circling back to the same idea that if he is on, he is hard to beat, but if he is even a little flat the whole thing opens up. Abu Kanute gets a brief mention, but the room settles on Blessing as the sleeper. Then the critique lands hard on Blessing, and the room goes after his waist, his legs, and the way a huge upper body can make the lower half look even worse than it is. They say he seems to wait until the last minute to show up ready, like he needs a warm up before every show. Johnny Jackson comes up next as the contrast: Johnny actually built the lower body to match the rest, while Blessing still has the same problem hanging over him. Later the conversation shifts to training culture. Bo floats the idea that more bodybuilders are going to start training with wellness girls because those sessions are all about legs and glutes, and the girl Nick Wall was training with gets name checked as a beast. The new Revolution gym comes up too, along with the invite to train there together, and the dying phone battery closes the whole thing out like a friendly bodybuilding circle talking shop until it runs out of juice.

As heard by us

A loose bodybuilding roundtable that settles into blunt contest talk.

This roundtable starts loose, with several guests piling in and a few stray jokes before it settles on contest talk. The panel keeps circling an eight-man open that still feels thinner than it should, then narrows in on Brandon, Martin, Abu Kanute, and Blessing.
