True Crime Documentary - The Murderer Who Killed Her Mother And Best Friend

March 9, 2026·50 min·3 clips
Virginia was out of town, and the case around her was already moving. Inspector Bierce talks with Virginia's friends, and they all give the same answer. When they called Virginia, Christine Lloyd often called back instead. That repetition makes everything feel off. Virginia had missed appointments on the 17th, 18th, and 19th. Alicia Jackson grew concerned enough to go to the house herself. No one answered the door. A note said Virginia was in San Francisco. The note did not settle anything. Alicia left her own note and waited for contact that never came. Bierce keeps looking for a reason. Virginia's brother returns to the station with a charred answering machine. The tape is warped from fire damage. Bierce sends it to the DOJ crime lab and hopes the messages can still be recovered. Those messages may explain who was trying to reach Virginia and why the replies kept coming from Christine. Bierce then runs a background check on Christine Lloyd. She comes back clean except for a minor traffic violation. Because Christine handled Virginia's finances, Bierce seeks a warrant to review those records. The investigation narrows around timing, access, and the silence left behind by every unanswered call.
