2: What They Saved
March 8, 2022·36 min·3 clips
A pregnant 17-year-old wakes to a stranger grabbing her arm in a hotel room, saying 'you're coming with me'.
As heard by us
A steady investigation of the teen-treatment industry in Utah.
Sent Away works best when it stays close to the facts: a pregnant 17-year-old in a hotel room, a man her family hired to bring her along, and, later, another young woman’s journal from Integrity House, where restraint and discipline start to feel like control.
Why you'd press play
You want to hear a hotel-room pickup turn into a slow case study in coercion.
