Corey Morrissette: Part Two — Hoser Rock Hour and the Vocal Showdown You Have to Hear

April 6, 2026·1 hr 11 min·5 clips
Sebastian Bach and Russ Dwarf turn a Skid Row set into a vocal showdown.
The wheel is supposedly original. The room starts in loose station chatter, with White Bird Land attitude, Albuquerque jokes, and bits that only land because everyone is already laughing. Nobody bothers pretending this is polished. The host keeps spinning until a topic feels worth chasing, and the others needle him for hiding the wheel from the room. A Rubik's cube nearly becomes policy. The media-day-job prompt begins in practical territory, then excitement, drinks, and screen sharing start wrestling over the controls. For a minute, the show almost restarts itself. That mess works for them. Everyone jokes about whether recording has even started, then the guitar talk finally walks in. Eddie and Randy get treated as a rivalry that might be real, might be overblown, and might just be rock lore doing its usual job. The guest leans toward mutual respect. He brings up a Van Halen book as his reference point, while admitting his memory may be a little wobbly. Gazari's turns into the imagined proving ground: Eddie plays a strong gig, Randy hears something he can use, and the story becomes more about borrowed sparks than personal warfare. The argument stays loose, but it is not empty. Nobody tries to sell a neat feud, because the more interesting version is two guitar minds listening, borrowing a little heat, and getting sharper. The teasing keeps cutting through the nerdy parts. Even when the room gets into influence, competition, and guitar evolution, they keep poking at memory, certainty, and who actually knows anything. By the end, they are back on merch. T-shirts, stickers, mugs, pillows, totes, and tapestries get the same tossed-off treatment as the guitar lore before the room waves out.
