(43) Quid didicerim de officio matris

·14 min·1 clip

Irene discovers that through her daughters, she becomes a girl again, reliving her own childhood memories—both beautiful and painful.

On her daughter Magdalena's fifth birthday, Latin teacher Irene reflects on what she has learned about motherhood over the past five years. She explores the tension between guiding her daughters while recognizing their independence, how motherhood forces her to become a better person through her example, and how parenting her children triggers memories of her own childhood.
