Sheila Dolan's superhero-themed stand-up gig for kids collapses when the microphone dies and the audience walks away.

The sisters then catch up on personal updates, referencing Daylight Savings time adjustments. Sheila details her stand-up comedy failure at a school event, highlighting the challenges of performing outside with technical issues. Julie introduces 'Cranky or Cause,' a segment where she debates whether her annoyance at a Williams-Sonoma clerk repeatedly calling her 'girlfriend' is justified, leading to a sisterly vote. Monica returns after a pager interruption to describe a work mishap where she handed over clinical trial equipment to a man in a white truck sent by a logistics coordinator, resulting in confusion and potential loss. Lian reveals she has an opportunity to pitch an HGTV show but lacks design credentials, prompting brainstorming sessions with her sisters for show ideas like gift-giving or home interventions. The sisters discuss new products, including Kleenex Cool Touch tissues and Mio liquid water enhancer, with Sheila noting the latter's nipple-like design. Liz shares that dog pheromone spray, intended for her anxious dog Ferris, unexpectedly improved her own sleep, leading to jokes about off-label use. The episode touches on a listener's letter confusing the show with another that discusses explicit topics, and Julie comments on Hilary Swank's controversial appearance in Chechnya. It concludes with reminders about the podcast and ads, wrapping up the sisters' conversational and supportive dynamic.
