Media finally call Trump racist

December 9, 2025·51 min·5 clips

After 10 years, NPR and the New York Times finally call Trump's comments racist and xenophobic.

Sandy and Nora discuss Trump's recent racist remarks against Somali communities and the media's belated labeling of his rhetoric as xenophobic. They critique Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney's failure to condemn Trump, linking it to broader issues of US-Canada relations, immigration policy, and enabling of far-right ideologies.
