RosterWatch Podcast Episode 859 - Week 14 Fantasy Football Preview - December 6, 2025

December 6, 2025·59 min·5 clips
Alex Dunlap apologizes for a failed upload from the ranch and previews the critical Week 14 fantasy football slate.
Week 14 starts with urgency. Alex frames it as the last regular-season push for most fantasy leagues, where win-or-get-in calls sit right next to DFS builds, player props, and pick-em angles. The feed is back after a missed upload from poor ranch internet, and the show gets through the apology fast instead of making it the story. Tennessee gets almost no rope. Tajay Spears only makes sense to them in blowout scripts where he is catching extra passes, and Pollard sounds like a name they have cooled on. Then Judkins becomes the pressure point. With Dylan Sampson questionable after missing Wednesday and Thursday practices and Jerome Ford barely carrying the ball, Cody leans into Quinshon Judkins as the rush-share play. Nobody is dressing it up as a pretty game. They joke that the matchup may get zero national attention, except for the draft-pick theater that almost could have made it matter more. Jerry Jeudy gets waved off quickly. The uncomfortable DFS idea is Isaiah Bond, a bottom-of-the-barrel salary play who might catch a few chances or hand you a zero. That is the appeal, as ugly as it sounds. The show is not pretending the punt is clean. It is just admitting that three-thousand-dollar lineup math sometimes drags gross names into real decisions. Later, the focus turns to Rams-Cardinals game script. If the Rams get ahead early and Adams is managing a hamstring, the second-half workload could swing toward the run. Corum becomes the prop call. Cody has already put something on the player-prop cheat sheet, and the number they circle is 32 and a half rushing yards. Alex sees the path right away. If the score reaches 21 nothing, then 28 to three or 28 to six, Corum may not need a perfect setup to clear it. This is messy process football. The useful part is hearing the corrections, pauses, and confidence clicks while the slate is still coming together.
