Building the "Lovable of Marketing" with Patrick Haede, Co-Founder & CEO @ Superscale AI

August 27, 2025·55 min·4 clips
Riding Unicorns speaks with Patrick Hady, co-founder and CEO of Superscale AI. The conversation opens with the host's fascination with Lovable and the way it reset expectations for what product building looks like when software can come together quickly. Patrick says Superscale grew out of a studio called Sonic. That earlier team had been building startup products, including mobile apps and web apps, before the pivot. He points to the end of last year as the turning point. Seeing Lovable made it clear that the agency-style service business would get disrupted, so the team started looking for where the next layer of leverage would sit. For Superscale, that layer is distribution. Patrick describes a product that helps people create marketing output with far less manual effort. The framing is straightforward: he talks about putting a performance marketing agency in your pocket. The discussion gets concrete with ad creative. He describes using the system to generate short, high-hook ads, including formats that start with a strong first three seconds and then move into a brief demo. He also talks about organic TikTok content. Some companies, he says, run many TikTok accounts at once and use them to find customers and create demand. Superscale is aiming beyond one-off creatives. The agent can be asked to generate an entire account's worth of content with small variations, not just a single asset. Patrick gives a vivid test result from that morning. He watched an entire TikTok account print out in front of him, including roughly 50 videos that would have taken a human editor about two days to produce. The scale is exciting, but the work is still hard. He says four people are focused on the agent and that they lose their minds over the complexity about twice a week, which makes the eventual payoff feel earned rather than effortless.
