March 3, 2026·42 min·3 clips
DJ Jamz shares his weekend seeing Ross Noble and Chelsea's loss before diving into the new record of the week.
The episode opens with two tracks: I Apologise by Tim Land featuring OneRepublic and Love Is a Losing Game by The Darkness. The DJ greets London on a sunny morning and recaps his weekend: seeing comedian Ross Noble at the London Palladium on Friday, having drinks with a friend from Wonderland, going to Denmark Hill on Saturday with DJ Marky Mark, Hayley, and Chris for drinks and karaoke, attending a London Woodcraft AGM over the weekend, and watching Chelsea lose to Arsenal. He plays Err by The 1975 from the second album and previews the quiz at 10:15. He reviews the Brit Awards, noting Olivia Dean won five awards, Olivia Dean and Sam Fender jointly won Song of the Year, and Robbie Williams performed a Metallica tribute to Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne. He introduces the Pixel FM record of the week — Nightingale Lane by Ray, chosen by Cloud Wilson — and plays it. The song is a melancholy track about a first love on a South London street. The DJ then runs a ten-question general knowledge quiz live, attempting answers on Charlotte's Web's author, female UK chart toppers, the Davis Cup, the Nobel Prize for Literature, the conquest of the Inca Empire, Best Picture Oscar musicals, moon landings, Nostradamus's nationality, Shakespeare's food of love quote, and Margaret Thatcher's constituency. He gets five out of ten, including correct answers for Madonna, twelve moon astronauts, Twelfth Night, and Finchley. He plays a Gorillaz track from the album The Mountain featuring Bobby Womack and Asher D, then reveals quiz answers and listener scores. He transitions to TV Corner covering Tuesday night UK television, mentioning Silent Witness series finale, Martin Lewis' Money Show, a Brit Awards repeat on ITV, Wolves vs Liverpool on TNT Sports, and Ukraine vs England women's football on ITV4. He closes with Times Like These and Machines by Biffy Clyro, and previews a Wednesday football podcast.
