·31 min·3 clips
He promises to refund your Disney+ subscription if you don't enjoy The Mandalorian after watching everything.
Orbital Albert opens episode 371 by mixing good and bad news, starting with pinball rumors and his health concerns. He mentions Chris from Canada's Pinball Podcast suggesting a Mandalorian pinball machine is next, cautioning against sharing unconfirmed pictures. Albert reflects on his skateboarding injury that led to starting the podcast and his grade C rating as a pinball podcaster. He discusses losing weight and shaving his beard due to health issues. The host delves into his NFT investments, explaining how he sold a base card for profit and invested in Atari and Garbage Pail Kids NFTs. He details buying up cheap taco-themed NFTs to manipulate the market and hoard low-numbered cards. Albert announces Weezer's upcoming NFT release, praising the band and their new album. He compares Mandalorian and Pokemon pinball potential, arguing Mandalorian would attract more 20-30 year olds. Albert makes a humorous money-back guarantee for watching The Mandalorian on Disney+, referencing his sales background. He admits to watching European Cosplay Championships for Star Wars costume ideas, considering middle-aged Obi-Wan. Albert reviews his AtGames pinball cabinet, noting its value but potential to turn people off due to lag. He reveals his colitis diagnosis, an autoimmune disorder common in Canada, requiring him to stop drinking alcohol and focus on health. The episode ends with him considering selling games for a Mandalorian pinball machine and playing retro Mandalorian music.

As heard by us

A loose, personal pinball dispatch where a Mandalorian rumor makes nearly every game feel negotiable.

Orbital Albert returns after a long dry spell for new pinball, and the episode lands in a pleasantly messy place between hobby fixation and real life.
