"Surely I Will Be With You" (Judges 6-7) Sunday, August 17, 2025

August 18, 2025·43 min·3 clips
Pastor Jim reveals why following Gideon into risky obedience with 300 men outnumbered 450-to-1 is the most exhilarating experience a Christian can have.

His question about missing miracles sounds familiar, but the host says God has already answered through Israel's disobedience. God does not explain again. He tells Gideon to go. From there, the host turns the command toward the listener's own known place of obedience. Weakness does not get anyone off the hook. The call keeps pressing: leave comfort, obey now, and stop treating delay as harmless clarity-seeking. Waiting can insult God. Chambers gives the final shove: stop demanding the whole road in advance, and obey God with glad, reckless joy.
