This guy was throat-goating like he was trying to swallow the truth.

City council rejected Biden's flood warning system funds, now we're drowning in flash floods and FEMA isn't answering.
Bobby and Jim open by saying it has been a while since they recorded together. They point to painting, summer, and a packed schedule as part of why. The studio heat comes up right away. So does the general misery of trying to work when it feels too hot to think. They talk about wanting to go to the pool instead. Then the weather turns ugly. A storm rolls through, the rain gets heavy, and the streets start looking flood-prone. One of them describes driving home through water that seemed risky enough to make him hesitate. That leads into Texas flooding and a wider rant about how cities can be left without basic flood protection. They joke about flood warning systems and about rejected Biden funds that could have helped. From there the conversation takes a hard left into cleanup logistics after sex. Paper towels become a serious talking point. Wet wipes are not enough, especially the individually wrapped kind. The hosts drag out the idea of trying to clean up with the wrong supplies while still half-stuck in the moment. They keep pushing on how gross it feels once the cleanup starts. They joke about being done and wanting everybody else to be done too. Pool rules come next. Showering before getting in matters. A rinse-off matters even more. They do not want sweaty, post-shit, post-sex people jumping straight into shared water. The bit turns into a blunt argument for basic body hygiene. After that, mosquitoes take over the room. They bounce from bugs to malaria to Africa and back again. The question becomes why mosquitoes even want human skin and blood in the first place. The answer is treated like it should be obvious, but they still drag it out for laughs. The episode wraps with the show’s call line and a dirty, casual goodbye.
