Gangs of Neo Galaderon - Ep. 2: Glenbottle Gala

April 2, 2026·1 hr 24 min·5 clips
A holographic cowboy advertises tobacco with ingredients 'so new scientists can't prove it causes cancer yet' in this cyberpunk D&D world.
The infiltration does not look clean. After a cold-open ad break, the table veers into a weird robot bit about saying toilet wrong, then keeps feeding the mistake until it becomes part of the room. Slug is somehow the one who comes out ahead. The group looks back at the entrance attempt with the confidence of people who nearly lost to a front door. Practice does not help much. One player points out that using the guards as rehearsal is not really practice if they can stop the mission before it starts. Then the teeth problem gets worse. Someone figures out that a real tooth got crunched instead of the gum tooth, turning a disguise beat into gross little body horror comedy. Nobody is in jail, which feels like its own achievement, since the table admits the basic version of the plan could have landed all three in a windowless cell. Adam and Ox stall outside. Their Times Square limbo becomes a tiny vacation: bland food, pre-gaming, and a serious plan to buy one big M&M. Slug has the real job. The others keep talking through the headset, but their help has to compete with noise, panic, and the strange pull of the M&M store. The minis matter more than they should. The joke works because tiny candy would make someone feel huge, which is exactly the kind of useless detail this crew treats like mission strategy. Somehow, the mission still moves. One character gets through, the rest improvise cover, and every helpful instruction arrives wrapped in nonsense. The closing roll call softens the landing, with patron names, Radio City excitement, and the HeadGum tag bringing the show back to its familiar house style after the mess.

As heard by us

A gala entry collapses into bad planning, headset chaos, and a very funny Times Square M&M detour.

Glenbottle Gala turns a Neo Galaderon gala entry into exactly the sort of Not Another D&D Podcast chaos where the plan matters less than the damage it takes on the way in.
