EP 22: The Spagmas Episode – End of Year Reflections & Ridiculousness

·41 min·2 clips
The team names Hannah as most likely to have no idea what's going on in a meeting.
Team Spag joins the studio for a special end of year episode. The host opens by saying everyone is knackered and by taking a swipe at the flood of year-end lessons posts clogging LinkedIn. Todd is there because he always has an opinion whether you want it or not. Hannah shows up as the social media queen, Becky as the client manager, and Sam as the exec assistant who is not a marketing expert and is mostly there for the bants. The first section asks what each person is proud of this year, whether that is a personal win or a win for the company. What follows is a loose run through the year that feels more like a tired end of year catch-up than a polished panel. Then the game starts. A rapid-fire 'Who’s Most Likely To?' round turns the team into a quick guessing machine, and Hannah gets tagged for not knowing what is going on in meetings, opening too many tabs, and living on Instagram. Sam gets called the most competitive. Todd gets blamed for the most inappropriate jokes and for the screen-time number that only made sense after laptops and workout tracking were counted together. There is also axe-throwing talk, with quad biking and zorbing mentioned along the way, before the room settles on the fact that nobody sensible is going axe throwing with this lot, especially if Todd would be the target. The Monday morning meeting gets jokingly called the every morning meeting, which is exactly the kind of small-office joke that tells you how the place works when nobody is trying to sound impressive. The close is messy. Thanks go to Todd, Hannah, Becky, Sam, Tanita, and Michelle, the host promises more chaos, more opinions, and a few more rants in January, and then everybody is told to eat a mince pie and log off LinkedIn for a bit. The contact line is treated like a joke, with the host saying not to get in touch and then giving the Spaghetti Agency email address anyway. It ends on a loose note, with a few name slips in the closing stretch and the music break following right after.
