Nick Carter: The Red Goose Murder

September 18, 2025·37 min·2 clips
Patsy spots a picture of Paula Windsor and a missing guitarist just before the story shifts to the Red Goose roof.
The case opens after the band breaks for intermission. People move between rooms, so the first job is figuring out who can reach whom without drawing notice. Bradley gives the investigators access to a phone. Scotty places a call under Steve Dawson's name, and the answer points straight at money. Steve needs four hundred dollars by one o'clock that night, which gives the case a hard motive. Nick and Patsy start looking for something physical to back it up. A smudge on the sill catches Nick's eye and sends him to the roof. The tar is soft in the warm weather, so footprints do not hold. Even so, the roof search matters. Nothing useful turns up. Patsy keeps with the search because the route matters as much as the clue. The fire escape starts to matter too, and the path seems to lead toward the musicians' locker room. The case keeps narrowing around access, timing, and motive, with each answer arriving in a short, clipped piece.
