Nick Colt, 101, paints a wildlife scene for Ken, a gift from a centenarian artist.
Friday arrives with golf already in the room. The segment starts with a bookkeeping certificate spot and a loose Friday pace, then the Masters talk takes over. One host gets ribbed about playing tomorrow, acting like he is at the Masters, and needing fake commentary around the course. The cigar bit stays practical for a minute, with a warning about paper matches and the chemicals that make them burn. Then the news turns weird. Hunter Biden saying he would take a cage match with Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump gets tossed around with very little solemnity. The hosts jump from the fight idea to supposed debt, old artwork sales, and the strange public orbit around the Biden and Trump families. The pace never really settles. Andrew Callahan, Trump-campaign framing, social media comments, and planned C5 carnival appearances in Phoenix, San Diego, and Albuquerque all pass through the room. The tone stays dry, with a little side-eye baked in. Masters dinner math comes back too, including who chooses, who pays, and whether that bill lands before tax or as a business write-off. Weather closes it out: Benton Harbor at 49 and cloudy, St. Joseph drizzly at 47, South Haven 45 and cloudy. Saturday sounds better. At 8 o'clock, the show hands off to ABC News after one last local forecast hit.

As heard by us

A loose, local morning hour that turns political absurdity into easy radio.

The hour starts in familiar local-radio terrain, with golf-season banter, cigar tips, and weather checks, then drifts into a political-news tangent about Hunter Biden, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and the cage-match joke that lends the segment a strange live-wire charge.
