Paul Robinson offers Nicolette one million dollars to buy her newborn baby in a lakeside confrontation.

Hosts Vea and Cate, recording from a Melbourne memorial park, recap the Australian soap 'Neighbours' episodes that aired August 9-12. The storyline centers on Paul Robinson's trip to Canberra to locate Nicolette, who fled Erinsborough while pregnant. Paul, aided by private investigator John Wong, finds video evidence of Nicolette meeting her friend Audrey. He tracks Nicolette down at Lake Burley Griffin, where she reveals she gave birth five days prior. Paul offers her a check for one million dollars to purchase the baby, Isla Faye. Nicolette agrees, brings the baby to Paul's hotel with a capsule and instructions, and he returns to Erinsborough with the infant. Back in her hotel room, Nicolette is shown with a second baby in a bassinet, leading to widespread speculation among characters and fans. The hosts analyze this twist, discussing theories including twins, Nicolette stealing a baby, postpartum psychosis, or her adopting a baby from another mother. They also critique Paul's poorly conceived plan, which hinges on no one asking questions, and the emotional impact on Jane and Chloe. The recap includes humorous asides about Canberra landmarks, outerwear fashion, and the logistical challenges of traveling with a newborn. The episode concludes with discussions of secondary plots, like Leo's reconciliation with David and Paul's financial troubles at Lassiter's.
