S2 E10: UNEND | Burn

August 6, 2025·14 min·1 clip

When the crew fires their laser at the alien, it uses the beam as a highway, transmitting its entire body along the light and materializing inside the gun deck.

In this intense mid-season episode of Midst's UnEnd arc, a Sentinel attacks the ship as the crew desperately tries to seal themselves in. When crew member Zeela fires the ventral laser, the Sentinel transmits its body along the beam and materializes inside the ship. It kills Zeela instantly, then surges into the control deck where Felix sacrifices himself to buy navigator Merlin time, only for Merlin to also be vaporized moments later. Cleo produces a dark mica sword and severs the Sentinel's limbs, while Steve uses the last of his psychic energy to extinguish the fold light that attracts the entity. The Sentinel vanishes, leaving the survivors in shocked silence. The episode ends with a fragile moment of hope as Steve urges the crew not to give up, followed by a mysterious radio transmission suggesting Merlin may still be alive somewhere.
