Realbotix Corp. (OTCQB: XBOTF) – The Robotics Company With No Competition | Marathon Money Inside the Ticker

·38 min·2 clips
Andrew says Realbotix has “no competition” because no one else offers a human-looking, open-source AI robot.
Marathon Money brings Andrew on to talk through his humanoid robots. Kenny starts with the most basic buyer question and asks what happens after someone actually purchases one. Andrew says the company has been making the robots for about six years. He says the first units are still working, even if some need an upgrade now and then, and points to better motors and components over time. The conversation stays focused on practical use instead of pure wow factor. Andrew says the robots could fit in hotels, casinos, and schools. He says they can also speak to people in different languages, including Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, French, and Russian. In his view, that makes them useful in places where translation matters right away. Healthcare comes up next. Andrew says they had a meeting with a health care company about using the robots in hospitals and long-term care facilities. He says the robots could take notes and sit with elderly people for four or five hours because they have infinite patience. Kenny then pushes on the bigger market question. He asks what market share the company could have in a few years. Andrew says they are not just selling into an existing category but creating a new one. He says there is no competition right now. He contrasts their robot with others by saying it is open source, human-looking, built like Lego, portable enough for a suitcase, and customizable in face, AI, and voice. Kenny presses on what protects that position. Andrew says the plan is distribution agreements and putting robots into as many public-facing places as possible. He mentions a robot going into Times Square when a new high-end technology store opens there. The episode closes on a stock-market frame, with Kenny pointing to the share price around 90 cents and saying it could move to two bucks. He asks Andrew to come back later and see how things are going.

As heard by us

A robotics pitch that lands best when Kenny pushes on durability and market proof.

Marathon Money treats Realbotix as an ambitious robotics story, and it is most convincing when Kenny keeps pulling the talk back to durability and actual use.
