A French fugitive might have been spotted in Texas with a black Labrador, reigniting a years-old mystery.
The episode begins with Manu welcoming listeners and teasing upcoming music from artists like Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny. He immediately shifts to a news segment about Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès, a French fugitive who may have been spotted in Texas in 2020, accompanied by a black Labrador, sparking renewed speculation. The show then transitions to its daily salary-doubling contest, where a listener named Sébastien, a gutter and couvertine installer from Haute-Corse, wins and has his salary doubled to 3,360 euros, leading to lighthearted banter about his profession. Next, the 'good news' segment shares positive stories: a 7-year-old boy named Soel saved his mother from a cardiac arrest by calling firefighters, who then celebrated his birthday at the fire station, and an upcoming meteor shower on April 22-23 is mentioned. The segment also discusses a study from Columbia University revealing that keeping secrets triples anxiety and harms mental health. Listeners then call in to share their best first-date locations: Oriane recommends an aquarium for its calm atmosphere, Lorenza recalls a date at Parc Astérix where her date was more scared than her, and Fiona suggests a spa to break the ice. The show features a recurring 'song of reconciliation' segment, where Paul calls in because he's fought with his brother Vincent after keeping his Nintendo Switch for a year. The host, Manu, and producer Florent prepare to sing a modified version of 'Le Blues du Businessman' from Starmania to reconcile them. After a game segment where a listener wins an iPad 11th generation, the reconciliation proceeds: Vincent is called, hears the song, and agrees to reconcile over pizza and gaming, with both brothers receiving T-shirts and mugs. The episode concludes with a discussion on when to apply deodorant, citing a study that recommends applying it at night for better effectiveness, sparking humorous reactions from the team.
