How to be a Worthy Citizen - Part 3 - Dr. Stan Ponz

April 3, 2026·26 min·1 clip
If you trusted Christ as your Savior, the Bible says that you also have dual citizenship.
The teaching opens with Philippians 1:27-30. Dr. Stan Pons begins by revisiting what it means to be a good citizen and asks about dual citizenship, using raised hands to bring the question close to home. He explains that a person who has trusted Christ as Savior holds citizenship in the country of residence and in heaven. The lesson names Christ as Lord of Lords and King of Kings and connects that identity to the believer's heavenly citizenship. Pons then turns to the importance of unity. He says unity begins with having the same thing in mind, rooted in agreement about the same truths. The teaching follows that shared thinking into shared feeling and shared speech. It presents this movement from mind to heart as part of how unity with one another and with people around them takes shape. A repeated call to stand together in unity gives the section its main practical weight. Pons also asks whether unity should be pursued at all cost and answers that it should not. He introduces a second point about serving together in evangelism. The episode connects that call to serve with the unity he has been describing. The teaching moves from Scripture explanation toward response, keeping citizenship and conduct joined together. Pons treats Christian identity as something that shapes how believers stand and serve together. Near the close, he says opposition will come to those he addresses. He tells listeners to expect it rather than be startled. The warning also rejects terror in the face of opposition. The teaching ends with steadiness under pressure, tied to the call to stand together. Joe Pons closes the program by thanking listeners for hearing Dr. Stan Pons's teaching and identifying him as founder of Make It Clear Ministries and president of Clarity Christian College. The closing names Make It Clear's purpose as taking the word of God with clarity into every person's world and invites support through makeitclear.org.
