The Dentist: Episode 4

March 20, 2026·28 min·2 clips
Kerry claims she's not the dentist but her twin sister, while a gangster demands a quarter million pounds.
The episode opens with an immediate threat: Paul Rennie, described as the cash-and-carry king of Glasgow, arrives at Leanne's flat demanding repayment of a quarter-million-pound debt. Kerry, who is there posing as Leanne, frantically tries to convince Rennie that she is actually the identical twin sister, offering to prove it via Google searches and references to Protestant dancing competitions they did as children. Rennie is unimpressed but gives them six hours to produce the money. Detective Inspector Hickman simultaneously arrives asking about missing patient Ronald Goodman, whose last known appointment was at Leanne's dental surgery. Kerry flees from Hickman through a children's playground in a comedic chase sequence. Back at the flat, Leanne's plan to flee to Manchester is complicated by the revelation that she has a seven-year-old daughter named Sapphire, which Kerry knew nothing about. The women devise a plan: assemble a fake cash bundle using cut-up magazines under real money, stash a DNA-covered blanket in the boot of Rennie's car, then tip off Hickman. The plan hinges on Rennie not counting the money immediately. When they visit Rennie's home, Kerry stashes the blanket in the boot of his car while Rennie examines what he believes is the full repayment. Rennie quickly discovers the fake money and launches into a wounded monologue about the damage to his fearsome reputation. As Gary prepares to retrieve Rennie's implements, the women escape again, grabbing the cash as they go. Kerry subsequently calls Hickman and offers to give evidence against Rennie for the Goodman murder, naming the blanket in the boot of his car as DNA evidence. The episode closes with a man waking in a shallow grave with a head injury, identifying himself as someone whose fiancée arranged to have him killed by incompetent assailants, suggesting an unresolved subplot involving the character known as Bob.

A tense cover-up episode where paperwork and damage control keep colliding.

The Dentist Part 4 keeps tightening the pressure on a cover-up that began as a mess and has turned into a professional problem. Leanne, Kerry, and the people around them are always trying to stay a step ahead of police, blackmail, and their own bad timing.
