Delphine asks if you have room inside for God to change your heart, or if He must take an alternative route.
Good morning comes more than once. The host settles into Luke chapter two, reads from the taxing under Caesar Augustus, and sounds like she is working through it with y'all as she goes. She keeps the room close. The teaching moves from the page to the listener when the good tidings stop sounding like something for somebody else. The word is you. She pushes that word hard, asking why people can believe God for others but refuse to believe God wants to be good to them too. Trauma is the blocker. She names rejection, broken love, being told you would never amount to anything, and feeling less beautiful or adequate than you should. She does not dress it up. In her reading, those wounds can make a person keep replaying what was spoken over them until they miss the promise being spoken to them. The bad circumstances matter. Bad circumstances, and being pushed outside, still do not stop angels, light, and glory from showing up where God wants to speak. There is no room. The host ties that rejection to people being ostracized, labeled, and turned away, then insists that God still sees something greater. It gets direct fast. She asks why listeners will not receive all the uses in the Bible, letting the repetition carry both the rebuke and the invitation. This is not quiet teaching. It is scripture, correction, repetition, and pastoral pressure, all aimed at making the listener take the word personally. Prayer closes it out. She thanks God for grace, mercy, deliverance from evil, and a changed heart before sending everybody toward the next morning at 6.

As heard by us

Luke 2 becomes a warm, urgent sermon about taxes, trauma, and taking God personally.

Luke 2 opens with Caesar Augustus and taxes, then the message turns straight toward a personal claim: God wants to do this for you, not for someone else in the room.
