Pokémon FireRed, LeafGreen Coming to Switch! - Kinda Funny Games Daily 02.20.26
·1 hr 11 min
KindOfFunny Games Daily covers three major stories: Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen $20 each pricing on Switch, Supreme Court ruling against Trump tariffs that spiked console prices, and Bioshock movie coming to Netflix. The Pokemon leak created controversy around standalone pricing versus NSO availability, especially regarding ESRB ratings and game corner mechanics. Greg discusses his personal investment in buying multiple copies for his family, contrasting with audience frustration. Supreme Court's 6-3 decision against Trump's use of IEEPA for tariffs faces potential circumvention through alternative legal channels. The discussion balances consumer criticism with industry reality: Pokemon games will sell well despite pricing concerns. KindOfFunny plans live coverage of Feb 27 Pokemon Presents livestream plus Resident Evil marathon stream.
