She collected life insurance payments after predictable deaths - calculated killer.
Jillin' Off opens on a ship rocking hard enough to make everything feel off-kilter. Jen Murphy is in a guest cabin, Christina Walkinshaw is pleased by the upgrade, and the two of them settle right into the kind of travel talk that makes eight straight days at sea sound like a bad but funny decision. The singer in the theater nearly falls over, the late show gets canceled, and dinner turns into a tiny disaster movie when a thud makes everyone think they might have hit an iceberg. Nobody at the table is drinking at first. Then one guy orders a cab sav, Christina decides that if he is drinking, she is drinking too, and the mood flips from alarm to a very casual little celebration of surviving the wobble. From there, the episode wanders into bookmark analysis. Christina pulls out a stack from the New West Library, including one for dementia resources, and Jen answers with a Brooklyn Library bookmark for free Narcan kits, which becomes the sort of earnest-but-funny public-service exchange the show handles well. They compare the wholesome tone of one library to the more survival-minded mood of the other, joke about keeping a Narcan kit in a purse, and note that Jen already has one from a giveaway before a concert at SoFi. Christina says she is headed to Carson City, and the pair riff on whether the Golden Nugget there could use a Narcan kit or some extra parking. Right in the middle of all that, Jen gets distracted by a squirrel at her door. The closing stretch stays just as shameless: Christina tells a story about a cute guy she was talking to whose flirting seemed to include a loogie, and the whole thing becomes a blunt case for not trying to maintain eye contact while someone is holding fluid in their mouth. The episode ends the way Jillin' Off often does: candid, gross, conversational, and happy to let one weird detail carry the last laugh.

Christina Walkinshaw and Jen Murphy keep the episode moving with a loose, easy rhythm that works well for the material. It starts in shipboard chaos, where the theater show gets cut short, dinner turns messy, and a server even goes down in the motion, then slides into a long…
