Michael Oliver Bombshell: Silver’s “Rebirth” After Smackdown – $500 Silver by Summer, $8,000 Gold

·28 min·2 clips
Michael Oliver predicts silver could rocket to $500 an ounce by summer, driven by structural momentum shifts.
The smackdown matters, but Oliver treats it more like a test than a tombstone. Daniela brings him on as a technical analyst and founder of Momentum Structural Analysis for a conversation about gold, silver, paper assets, and cracks in bonds. He says he sensed the correction coming, though it landed earlier than he expected, and frames it as a possible flush of late buyers before the metals case gets moving again. Silver is the main event. Oliver pushes back on the idea that the 1980 or 2011 highs should still fence in the upside. Copper is his comparison: if copper can break out of a multi decade range, he thinks silver sitting under old landmarks looks suspect. Manipulation comes up, but he does not hang the whole case on it. He leaves room for a manipulated break or a late buyer shakeout, then keeps returning to structure. The 35 level gets real weight. He says MSA buy signals showed up as silver moved toward 35 last June, followed by acceleration and another signal around a November close. Oil is his second marker. When silver broke out against oil, Oliver reads that as the smaller monetary metal starting to regain its footing. Gold still sets the yardstick. Even after the rally, he says silver remains historically cheap versus gold and has not reached levels that satisfy his work. Asked about prominent metals voices selling at 90 and hoping to buy lower, he says many analysts still lean too hard on old metrics. RSI takes the hit. Familiar overbought readings, in his view, may not work when old norms are breaking. The close turns toward the sale: Daniela sends listeners to OliverMSA.com and points undecided gold and silver buyers back to ITM Trading.

As heard by us

A sharp silver bull case built on momentum, relative value, and old ceilings that may no longer hold.

Michael Oliver treats silver's pullback as a pause inside a larger move, not a failed breakout. The piece works best when it moves between price action, relative value, and market structure.
