·42 min·4 clips

Danny Green explains why Evan Mobley's hesitation, not talent, is holding back the Cavaliers' young star.

The episode begins with hosts Danny Green and Harrison Sanford previewing a live event in San Antonio on April 16th. They immediately dive into Wednesday's NBA results, highlighting De'Aaron Fox's 25-point performance for the Spurs without Victor Wembanyama and discussing Fox's adaptability. The focus shifts to the Cleveland Cavaliers' win over Atlanta, where Evan Mobley's performance sparks a longer analysis. Danny Green dissects Mobley's mental hurdles, comparing his situation to Kawhi Leonard's rise and other stars adjusting to new roles. The conversation then covers Cade Cunningham's return for the Pistons after a collapsed lung, with both hosts praising Detroit's supporting cast during his absence. A significant segment addresses the NBA coaching landscape, with Green criticizing the league's impatience and instability for head coaches, referencing J.B. Bickerstaff's situation and potential openings. They briefly touch on Luka Dončić's injury treatment in Spain before pivoting to the Lakers' injury crisis. Green outlines a specific game plan for LeBron James to carry the team without Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves. Anthony Davis's comments on the 2020 bubble championship are discussed, with Green empathizing and emphasizing Davis's need for physical maintenance. The hosts then debate Coach of the Year candidates, with Green favoring Mitch Johnson of the Spurs. The episode concludes with a wishlist of playoff matchups, including Pistons-Hornets and Nuggets-Spurs, before promoting the San Antonio live show again.
