#194 - With Abby Boom - Hot Water’s Green Room w/Tony & Jamie

September 1, 2025·1 hr 12 min·3 clips
A dead body with a Rolex washed up in a fishing net, leading detectives to uncover an international con artist on the run.
Tony and Jamie bring Abby in and the room is already in motion. They jump straight into the usual mess: who is doing what, who is covering too many jobs, and who is pretending to have it all under control. Nobody gets a clean question. Abby gets teased, prodded, and pulled through the kind of chat where every answer becomes another joke. The pace stays clipped. They talk about team setups, age, how many jobs people are covering, and whether anybody is actually keeping it together. Abby says she is on her second beer already. The lads grab onto that and keep pushing the idea that she is the sensible one only because she does not sound like them. Age comes up too, with the usual nonsense about who looks older, who acts older, and who is still in the bin. Abby says the channel has hit 1.37 million and got there in under a year. That turns into a quick round of disbelief and praise before it slides straight back into abuse. Tony floats the idea of a collab in Australia, and Abby makes him say it properly. They drift into life coach territory, mostly to mock the idea that any of them should be coaching anything. By the close, the tour plugs and website mentions spill out without changing the tone. The whole thing stays crude, fast, and very live.

As heard by us

A fast guest spot that turns work, touring, collabs, and self-mockery into sharp, loose banter.

Abby keeps the pace up while the conversation jumps through work, touring, partying, team chatter, and the familiar jokes about who seems most sorted out. The best stretch is the back-and-forth on collabs, fat jokes, and whether any of them need life coaching.
