DQ explains how he became a pizza chef in Hell after finding the job on a ghost employment website.

The warning arrives first. Earth is told the podcast is not real, which somehow opens the door to Hell having podcasts too. Then the toppings start. The heroes duck behind a sausage and into a pizzeria while anchovies and sauce make Pizza Hell live up to the sign. Arnor needs saving, and that quest frame is just sturdy enough to hold the nonsense. DQ is in bad shape. The group tries not to stare as DQ tests an arm, reaches for a spoon, and bleeds only a little. Sauce is everywhere. Or blood. Pizza Hell is not interested in making that distinction simple. A healing spell helps, though in the odd, energizing way magical first aid works when everyone is surrounded by edible misery. Then the verdict comes in. After hearing the effort, Chunt and the others decide DQ may be better off kicking. A whale memory pops up. Chunt compares the noises to another whale trying to court him, and somehow means it nicely. Courtship turns into court. Romance slides into jury duty, with Chunt dodging service through an old illness dragged back into the bit. Ysor made things worse. He brought the disease back, and the riff tumbles into family ties and possible upward movement. The plot keeps breathing underneath, but the fun is the group jumping from danger to anatomy to legal confusion without breaking character.
