[8.] Possessing the Promise (Part 2): Positioning Yourself for the Level You’re Praying For

December 4, 2025·45 min·3 clips
The visible realm lags. Skye Edmonds teaches from the uncomfortable stretch between obedience and outcome, when belief has moved but evidence has not caught up yet. That gap can feel raw. She treats it as the 3D catching up to who the listener is becoming, not as proof that delay means denial. Hebrews 11.3 does the heavy lifting here. What can be seen comes after what God has already settled beyond sight. That changes how the wait reads. Instead of calling the lag failure, a broken pattern, or something to rebuke, she frames it as the space between heaven's settlement and earth's unfolding. Then the orphan identity starts talking. Old agreements come back in thoughts like nothing is working, this always happens, or everything has to be carried alone. The body gets a seat at the table too. She brings in the limbic system and names the survival brain's problem with uncertainty, especially when it cannot make sense of God's timing. Past data gets loud. The brain predicts from what the listener survived, not from the woman God is forming now. For business, that matters. A new identity can feel strange when the nervous system is still organized around old evidence. The correction is firm but not harsh. She does not call the listener's delay failure, and she does not let fear explain it either. Positioning becomes the work: becoming the woman who can partner with what God has already entrusted to her, because the promise is treated as already done. The series keeps going from here, toward praise, movement, and feet on the land God promised.

As heard by us

A steady, faith-forward call to hold position while life catches up.

Part 2 stays with women in business who care as much about becoming as building. Skye Edmonds connects identity, Scripture, and nervous-system language with clear discipline, and the idea of a lag between belief and evidence gives the waiting period a sense of formation instead…
