Not Today Milton...The Streak is STILL Alive!

·33 min·3 clips
Todd the Gator just got his power back after Hurricane Milton, vowing not to let the storm break his 273-episode streak.
In this solo episode, host Todd the Gator opens by explaining he just regained power after Hurricane Milton, vowing not to let the storm break his streak of 273 consecutive episodes. He first discusses playing the new Destiny 2 Revenant seasonal content before the hurricane hit, praising the cutscene between Crow and Fikrul but criticizing the clunky Apothecary and Tonics Laboratory mechanics, which he found so confusing he had to consult YouTube. Todd then reviews the movie 'SNL 1975', about the first live show of Saturday Night Live, and the season finale of 'The Rings of Power' on Prime Video. He mentions playing tabletop games like Ascension and mobile games like Balatro during the power outage. The core of the episode is Todd's detailed timeline of experiencing Hurricane Milton, a Category 5 storm with nearly 200 mph winds heading for central Florida. He describes preparing by boarding windows and filling gas cans, then deciding to stay due to family and pets. During the storm, he lost power twice, endured 70+ mph sustained winds and gusts over 100 mph, and feared hundred-foot oak trees falling on his house in the dark. After the storm, his family used a borrowed generator, cleaned up debris, and waited days for power restoration due to corroded underground lines. Todd reflects on positives like family bonding and playing tabletop games. He concludes with announcements: two new official co-hosts will join the show starting Friday, and future episodes will be live-streamed on YouTube at 10 PM Eastern on Fridays.
