Christmas at Grace: Angels - Kevin Maurice

·34 min·3 clips

One angel wiped out an entire army overnight—yet they're not all-powerful, so how do they serve God?

This sermon explores the biblical understanding of angels, correcting common misconceptions and explaining their roles as created spiritual beings who magnify Jesus and minister to believers. It delves into what angels are, what they do, and why they feature prominently in the Christmas story, emphasizing that they point to God's glory rather than being the focus themselves.

As heard by us

A Christmas sermon that treats angels as real servants, not decoration.

Christmas at Grace opens by pairing Isaiah 6 and Revelation 4 through the angels who cry, "Holy, holy, holy." It then asks whether angels are real or have been reduced to seasonal decoration, and keeps Scripture at the center throughout.
