Pitching Switch 2 sequels, WWE 2K26 GM mode, Resident Evil Requiem | Sidequest

Rocket League duos turn into spawn-kill chaos, and the other team starts chasing Travis instead of the ball.
Housekeeping comes first, naturally. Dylan Moss welcomes Travis Snell back to SideQuest, and they start by sorting out the next stretch of GeekVerse stuff. The room feels busy. Daredevil is tomorrow, Mario is next week, and gaming news seems to be hovering just offscreen. Dylan smells a Direct coming. He thinks Nintendo may be waiting for the Mario movie to clear the lane before dropping summer game updates. Wolverine gets a quick nod too, since a developer apparently reinforced that a spring update is still planned. That adds to the announcement-watch mood. Then Switch 2 takes over. Dylan frames the main game as pitching sequels built for the new console, with space for older favorites and Switch-era follow-ups. It is wishlist brain, but it has some logic. The sharper bit is the Joy-Con mouse-control feature, because Dylan cannot get past how little it seems to matter so far. Travis barely remembers what it is, which becomes both the joke and the complaint. This is supposedly a new console feature he already owns, and it has barely stuck. Dylan runs through the thin examples: Metroid Prime 4 uses it for aiming, Mario Paint can use it, and Donkey Kong Bonanza seems tied to sculpture mode. None of that feels big enough. They keep circling the same Nintendo question: why spend the research money if the launch window barely sells the feature. Bonanza gets a partial pass. Dylan notes it was not originally planned as a Switch 2 launch title, so the support may be more opportunistic. Nostalgia still slips in near the end. Golden Sun and Earth-style affection come up, with Dylan treating those niche old favorites as long-shot dreams and oddly usable pitch fuel. The close stays warm. They expect surprises, want the next Direct to bring fresh things, and mostly enjoy arguing Nintendo wishes out loud.

As heard by us

A loose Nintendo wish list that stays grounded just enough to keep the conversation moving.

SideQuest spends most of its run in pure fan-brain mode, with Dylan Moss and Travis Snell trading a Nintendo-heavy catch-up that hops from Switch 2 sequels to how lightly the console's mouse controls seem to be used.
