Host Michael Rasile introduces the episode with guest Jennie Finch, a USA softball legend, All-American, and Olympic gold medalist. Finch explains that sports 'gave me life,' brought her family together, and gave her sisters she never had. Rasile reveals a personal connection, noting he's from Flemington, New Jersey, where Finch has a billboard for Diamond Nation. Finch describes her business partnership with Jack Cuss Sr., who dreamed of building a turf complex in the Northeast to make softball a year-round sport. She mentions this partnership has lasted about 12 years and has seen the city of Flemington grow. The conversation transitions to cornhole, with Finch stating it's a staple at every event because anybody can play. She recalls playing at the MLB All-Star Game and emphasizes how it brings families together. Finch shares a story about being defeated by ACL pro Timmy Pitcher, which gave her 'a huge piece of humble pie' and respect for professional cornhole players. Rasile brings up a viral video of Finch striking out MLB players. Finch promotes the Superhole event, a celebrity-pro cornhole competition airing on ESPN2 on August 5th. She also mentions the ACL World Championships will air on ESPN throughout the weekend. Finch provides her social media handles: @jfinch27 on Instagram and Jennie Finch on Facebook. Rasile jokes about ESPN8 The Ocho being a fan favorite. He invites Finch to meet in Flemington in October for a fall tournament. The episode concludes with Rasile thanking Finch and Johnsonville for sponsoring the appearance.
