Week 2 Start / Sits (all of them)

·1 hr 12 min·4 clips
Baker Mayfield says Mike Evans in single coverage is "a cheat" and he will throw it every time.
They open loose. Josh and Sean trade birthday jokes, compare getting older, and settle on the same answer: at this point, a steak and a whiskey beat trying to power through a full night out. Then the lineup talk kicks in. Tampa Bay gets the first real run, with Baker Mayfield, Rashad White, Bucky Irving, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Jalen McMillan, and Cade Otten all getting direct fantasy treatment. The room does not stay quiet for long. Bucky Irving earns a roster shout after showing 31% of the plays, nine carries for 62 yards, and two catches, while Mike Evans is treated like a player you start because he is Mike Evans. Godwin looks healthy. His 8-for-8 day for 83 yards and a touchdown makes him an easy play, and McMillan gets a louder nod because he scored on limited targets and may see his role grow. Otten gets the shrug. He is the tight end answer if you need one, and the show leans on Baker's history with tight ends plus the scoring environment to make the case. Detroit is even easier. Goff and Gibbs come off like automatic starts, and Montgomery gets the strongest push after his 17-carry, 91-yard, one-touchdown line. The secondary looks beatable. That matchup makes the Baker side look better too, especially with the implied point total from Vegas pointing toward a game that could turn into a real shootout. Carolina takes a hit. McMillan is pushed over everybody on Carolina, which is about as clear as the show gets when it likes a player and does not like the other side. The advice stays blunt. Start the good pieces, stop acting like every ugly roster call needs a philosophy seminar, and keep moving before the slate changes again. Then they wander. A late soccer live-bet tangent turns into a joke about degeneracy, and the episode ends the way this show likes to end: with good luck on Sunday and a reminder that one bad week is not the whole season.

As heard by us

Blunt start/sit calls with enough chaos to feel like a real fantasy room.

This episode stays in fantasy-football mode and works best when it feels like a hurried group text turned into advice. Tampa Bay gets most of the attention, Detroit gets treated as simple, and the real hook is the same practical question repeating all the way through: who is…
