531 – Avatar: Fire and Ash

Characters keep escaping death right when the movie seems ready to spend them. Sigourney Weaver’s character fits into that bigger pattern across the three films. Quaritch gets a Disney villain death. Varang walks away after he falls, and that beat points toward the next chapter. The panel’s main complaint is that the story keeps undercutting its own stakes even while the visuals keep landing. That remains the conversation’s center of gravity throughout.
