Wake Up Dead Man hangs at the edge. By the end, the episode briefly points toward that film in the outro, so the whole thing feels like one long handoff from one pop-culture argument to the next. The hosts never really settle down. They keep correcting one another, circling back to the same joke, and letting the tangent breathe just long enough to become part of the point, which is exactly why the episode feels lived-in instead of packaged. It ends on the same loose energy. Anyone who likes film talk that can move from visual effects to box office to franchise politics without pretending those things are separate will know what to do with it.
