A Look Inside the New & Improved FaithFi App with Chad Clark

·25 min·2 clips
Chad Clark explains how the FaithFi app was built to make biblical stewardship accessible for real families.
Most budgeting tools help with the plan, then leave the hard part to ordinary life. Rob West presents the updated FaithFi app as help for the part that usually slips: keeping steady habits when schedules get packed and motivation thins out. His word for it is rhythm. The app is framed as a stewardship companion with daily check-ins, God's Word, short devotionals, weekly progress snapshots, and monthly reviews of goals and provision. FaithFi Pro adds automation, but the point is not to put money on autopilot. It learns spending habits and sorts transactions while still keeping the user awake to what is happening. The tone stays practical and pastoral. Money management sounds less like tidying up a spreadsheet and more like a daily act of stewardship. Then the show moves to a caller with an annuity originally funded from a previous IRA, where the tax treatment matters. Rob keeps the guidance careful. Since the money appears to be qualified, taking it out would likely create taxable income unless it stays inside a tax-deferred account. The caller has a few possible paths: roll the funds into another annuity, move them into an IRA, or annuitize for predictable lifetime income. None of those choices is free of tradeoffs. Another annuity may bring guarantees, but it can also tie up the money through surrender periods and leave the retiree exposed to inflation. An IRA keeps more access. From there, the caller could stay with an existing advisor or bring one in to manage the funds around retirement goals and objectives. Rob also points a caller toward Kingdom Advisors resources and Christian school contacts, then closes with the show's reminder that God is the ultimate treasure and money is a tool for his mission.
